9th September 2004 PRESS RELEASE The Queen's Foundation
in Birmingham is delighted to announce that Professor John Hull has been
appointed to take up a teaching and tutoring position at the Foundation as
Honorary Professor in Practical Theology. The
Queen's Foundation is an ecumenical institution, training women and men for
ministries within the Church of England, the Methodist Church and the United
Reformed Church, through College and Course modes of teaching and learning.
In addition, a Research Centre offers a wide range of post-graduate
programmes and awards, as well as carrying out research for the churches.
Professor Hull will teach, tutor and contribute actively to the
Foundation's research activities. The
Principal, the Revd Canon Dr David Hewlett, comments: "Professor Hull's
appointment is very good news for the Foundation. He is an inspirational teacher, a scholar of international
reputation, whose wide ranging interests, publications and research in the
fields of Christian Education, theology, disability, and mission will enrich and
