Presentation of the Festschrift
About 150 of John Hull’s relatives, colleagues and friends gathered in the Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham on 22nd April 2006, to celebrate his 71st birthday. The highlight of the day was the presentation of the Festschrift volume to John by the chief editor, Dennis Bates. This was preceded by a service of thanksgiving in the Queen’s Foundation Chapel, at which the Principal David Hewlett presided and John gave a short address, the text of which can be seen by clicking here (which opens a Word document).
