John's funeral was at All Saints Church, Kings Heath, where he usually worshipped.
In his earlier years in Birmingham, John attended and became an Elder of Carrs Lane United Reformed Church, and a

') at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday 20 July 2016.
It will include music, tributes, and the feature-length film
Notes on Blindness, based on John's book Touching the Rock. All welcome.
