On Friday 19th September 2003 Hull presented a lecture 'Living with Disability' in Chang-hua University in central Taiwan.

This was part of a visit to Taiwan in order to receive an award from the Cultural and Educational Foundation of Taiwan. The conference in Chang-hua University was sponsored by Professor Chi.
